New Shipment Arriving SOON!
The new shipment of hand selected tonewood lumber has off loaded in Los Angeles and is currently be processed by customs. A couple months ago we went down to Peru and spent a couple weeks personally visiting local wood shops and saw mills to hand select lumber with the best grain and appearance for guitar backs, sides, and tops. We searched for tonewood species with the most amazing patterns and discovered a few others we were not expecting. That’s the beauty of being able to personally select wood. True adventure is found in the unexpected. Pictured above, ruff sawn thick cant, is an amazing wood we call Sacha Rosewood, also referred to as Higuerilla. Top quality musical instrument tonewood which imparts a bright tone with good clarity and a stiffness similar to Koa. Richly colored, with a strong linear stripped pattern very reminiscent of old world Brazilian Rosewood.
